General terms and conditions for the participation at the "Winteropening Tannheimer Tal"

  1. Organizer
    • The organizer of the Winter Opening Tannheimer Tal is the Tourism Association Tannheimer Tal, Vilsalpseestr. 1, 6675 Tannheim, Austria (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).
  2. Registration and Participation
    • Registration for individual program events of the Winter Opening takes place via the online form on our website.
    • By submitting the registration, participation is considered binding.
    • After registration, participants will receive a confirmation and invoice by email.
  3. Participation Fees
    • If participation fees apply to specific program events, these will be indicated on the website.
    • Unless otherwise stated, payment is made by bank transfer of the invoice amount.
  4. Program Changes
    • The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program, schedule, or event location for organizational, safety, or weather-related reasons.
    • In the event of a program cancellation, participation fees already paid will be refunded in full.
  5. Cancellation and Withdrawal
    • Cancellations made up to 7 days before the start of the event are free of charge.
    • For cancellations made between 6 and 3 days before the start, 50% of the participation fee will be charged.
    • From 2 days before the start or in the case of no-show, the full participation fee (100%) will be charged.
    • Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to the Organizer.
  6. Liability
    • Participation in all events is at the participant’s own risk and responsibility.
    • The Organizer assumes no liability for injuries, property damage, or losses unless caused by gross negligence or intent on the part of the Organizer.
    • The Organizer is not liable for any personal equipment, sports gear, or valuables brought by participants.
  7. Safety and Conduct
    • Instructions given by the Organizer, guides, or security personnel must be strictly followed.
    • Participants are required to take part only in activities that correspond to their personal health and fitness level.
    • The Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants who fail to comply with safety regulations from the event.
  8. Photo and Video Recordings
    • Photo and video recordings may be taken during the Winter Opening.
    • By participating, the participant agrees that these recordings may be used free of charge for press coverage, social media, and marketing purposes by the Organizer.
    • If participants do not wish to be photographed or filmed, they must inform the Organizer or the photographers before the start of the event.
  9. Data Protection
    • Personal data collected during registration will be used exclusively for the organization and execution of the event.
    • Data will only be shared with third parties if this is necessary for processing (e.g. with partner companies).
    • Further information on data protection can be found in the privacy policy on our website.
  10. Final Provisions
    • Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Reutte, as far as legally permissible.
    • If any provision of these terms and conditions becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
